Primetimers is an activity-based group for senior adults who are interested in lifelong learning. 

Facilitators:

  • Rev. Irv White, Associate Pastor (Congregational Care)

  • Primetimers Steering Committee comprised of David Estes, Chair, and Brad Harmes, Dennis McCord, Cordelia Price, and Larry Walters

Location for programs: Usually Fondren Hall, 2nd floor of the Jones Building; occasionally the Sanctuary; Activity Center, 2nd floor of the Sanctuary Building; or Youth Center, 1st floor of the Sanctuary Building
Dates: Usually 2nd Thursdays, February-June and August-December, 11am-noon

Program Meetings. Programs are presented on cultural, historical, social issues, and local topics of interest, featuring noted experts in these areas. The gathering usually begins in Fondren Hall with registration and informal gathering at 10:30am followed by the program at 11, and a $10 lunch at noon for those who RSVP to primetimers@stpaulshouston.org two days prior. The programs are free of charge, and anyone is welcome to attend, regardless of church membership or age.

Day Trips. A variety of day trips to interesting places in the greater Houston area is offered periodically. Each has its own timeframe and travel logistics.
