Multi-generational instrumental ensembles comprised of musicians in upper elementary through adulthood. Ensembles play Dec. 6 at Sights, Sounds, Smells of Christmas, Dec. 20 at Sounds of the Season and Children's Candlelight Service, Youth Sunday in February, and March 26 at Children's Good Friday Tenebrae Service. The program began as St. Paul's Strings and has expanded to include more instruments (sometimes separating out into a Brass Ensemble & a Strings Ensemble or a Strings/Winds ensemble) - and the age range has expanded to included multi-generations - including some professionals that participate as their schedules allow. There are also opportunities to form smaller groups for duets, trios, etc.

Rehearsals are usually in the gym (activity center) or the children’s choir room - usually Sunday mornings from 9-9:40 for instrumentalists to rehearse together. Other rehearsal times/locations might be determined based on participants’ schedules, especially for smaller ensembles (duets, trios, etc.).
