The program celebrates choral music from Thomas Tallis, the grandfather of the English choral tradition, through to music of today, including Dame Judith Weir, Master of the King’s Music and an Honorary Fellow at Trinity College. The program also includes Bach’s Komm, Jesu, komm, Holst’s Nunc Dimittis and works by John Taverner and Herbert Howells.
Voted the fifth best choir in the world in Gramophone magazine’s ‘20 Greatest Choirs’, the Choir of Trinity College Cambridge comprises around thirty Choral Scholars and an Organ Scholar, all of whom are students at the University.
