Join us for lunch and a screening of 1946: The Mistranslation That Shifted Culture, followed by conversation and discussion.
The award-winning documentary explores the history behind the word “homosexual” appearing in an English translation of the Bible in 1946 and examines the lasting impact that translation has had on LGBTQ+ people, Christianity, and our culture.
LGBTQ+ people, friends, family members, allies, and anyone interested in learning and conversation are welcome.
