St. Paul’s is pleased to announce a second new Sunday School class will join our line-up beginning January 25. We started a new class for adults who are out of college but maybe haven’t gotten married or started a family in December and are now ready to launch a class for parents of young children. Rev. Brandi Horton will lead the class, which will meet in the Jones Building Room 204 during the Sunday School hour at 9:45 a.m. The class will kick off studying “Woven: Nurturing a Faith Your Kid Doesn’t Have to Heal From” by Meredith Miller. Class participants will need to purchase a copy of the book prior to January 25.
“We had a very good book study with parents reading “The Anxious Generation” last year and some of those parents reached out to have a regular group discussion on parenting and the church. We are happy to provide that as a Sunday School class,” Brandi said. If you are interested in joining the class, contact Brandi at bhorton@stpaulshouston.org.
The new class also means the Sunday School class we started for the out of college set will be moving! They are currently meeting in J-204, but will head to the Sanctuary building in room S-109 (basement level) beginning January 25. For more information about this class, contact Rev. Trey Burns at tburns@stpaulshouston.org.
