Interactive Ofrenda Installation
Saturday, Oct. 25 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Join us to co-create a traditional ofrenda (altar) for Día de las Personas Muertas (Day of the Dead). Together, we will create a collaborative seed mosaic from beans, corn, and grains, an ancient Mesoamerican tradition, layering patterns with intention, memory, and hope. We’ll create patterns of remembrance that reflect both the fragility and abundance of life. Bring a photo or small keepsake; all materials provided.
Service of Remembrance
Sunday, Oct. 26 – 9:40 AM – 10:00 AM
In the Chapel, we’ll worship, pray, and place our memories on the altar. As we move toward All Saints Day, this service gives space to remember and hold sacred presence together. The ofrenda remains up through the week as a visible, shared memorial.
