“All Things Strings!” St. Paul's Kids Music Camp
Monday–Friday, June 10–14 | Jones Building
St. Paul's Kids Music Camp is a week of music-related activities geared toward children entering 1st-6th grade. Campers enjoy a week of music-related activities centered around "All Things Strings!" as we explore music genres that use stringed instruments (bluegrass, Classical, jazz, mariachi, pop, rock, sacred, etc.) and a variety of string instruments (violin, viola, cello, bass, harp, guitar, dulcimer, lute, sitar, zither, ukulele, banjo, koto, etc.).
Camp will include instrument demonstrations, crafts, snacks, songs, and STEAM activities (ex.: sound wave & frequency activities, yo-yos, pulleys, kites, marionettes, bow hair art) that relate in some way to STRINGS. Camp concludes with a brief program at 11:30 am on Friday, June 14, 2024 with the children performing songs learned during the week.
Cost: $90 per camper. Scholarships are available upon request. Reduced tuition and free childcare are available for family members of volunteers. Registration closes Wednesday, June 5, 2024.
