Connect Course: Empowering Parents and Volunteers to Empower Children
Begins Saturday, September 9 | 9 AM–noon | Jones Building (virtual option available)

This 6-session hybrid course from Empowered to Connect includes in-person workshops and online sessions led by Rev. Amy Bezecny, ETC facilitator and founder and CEO of Cultivating Families. Parents, educators, and all who work with children or youth can learn research-based connecting strategies to build relationships with the kids they serve. Originally developed for kids who have experienced trauma, these principles and concrete steps are helpful for anyone.

The five subsequent sessions for the course will be held online on Tuesdays, September 19, October 24, and November 14 from 7–9 PM and Saturdays, October 14 and November 4 from 9 AM–noon in the Jones Building (virtual option available).
