Deux Voix (tr. Two Voices) is a duo comprised of organist, Stephen Distad and trumpeter, Justin Langham. Touring widely in the United States, they have built up a repertoire of music arranged specially for their two instruments. Their Lenten Recital will include music by Johann Sebastian Bach, “Gabriel’s Oboe”, from the movie “The Mission”, and “Chanson Festif” written by American composer, Mark Hayes for Deux Voix to perform at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City. Stephen Distad is artist-in-residence at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church here in Houston.
