Location: Children’s Choir Room

St. Paul’s Strings is an instrumental ensemble comprised largely of violinists, violists, and cellists (and a few other instrumentalists including a trumpeter/guitarist) ranging from Kindergarten up through adulthood. Last year, we had three generations of a family playing in the ensemble!

Antoine Plante (St. Paul’s member and Artistic Director of Mercury Chamber Orchestra) has graciously agreed to direct the St. Paul’s Strings. Rehearsals will be from 9:00 – 9:45 am on Sundays from November 6 – December 18.

There will be a St. Paul’s Strings short performance in the morning in the lobby of the Jones Building on Sunday, December 18 (~9:45 am), and the ensemble will provide some of the music for the Children’s Candlelight with Las Posadas service at 5 pm that same day. St. Paul's Strings also provide music for the Children's Good Friday Tenebrae service.
