The Primetimers will get a close-up look at the new Telemedicine Clinic operated by the University of Houston colleges of nursing and medicine in conjunction with St. Paul’s. The clinic officially opened on Monday, September 13.

The Primetimers will gather at 10:30 am in the clinic’s space in Abraham Station, 5401 Fannin. (Enter through the west-facing door, not the EAC door.) The initiators of the clinic — Rev. Andrew Wolfe, St. Paul’s Pastor for Congregational Care and Dr. Shainy Varghese, PhD, RN, CPNP, Associate Professor, UH College of Nursing — will present the program. They will cover the history that led to the clinic — why St. Paul’s, why UH — as well as healthcare disparities in Texas , the current goals with the clinic and its anticipated future.

This program is open to everyone. Afterwards, the Primetimers who RSVP for lunch by Tuesday, October 12, to primetimers@stpaulshouston.org may walk over to the Activity Center (2nd floor, Sanctuary Building) to get a boxed lunch to take or to enjoy with others in the Activity Center at widely spaced tables.
