Evensong is a service of worship that includes prayers, scripture, psalms, canticles and anthems; it has been used in the same form for more than 500 years. In many cathedrals and churches around the world it is held every day. Much of the service is sung by the choir, and congregants join in prayer. The service of Evensong has inspired composers to write some of the very finest sacred music, and the service is well-known for the timeless beauty of its choral music. Music at this service will be sung by St. Paul's Choir.
