ORGANIST S. ANDREW LLOYD
S. Andrew Lloyd, whose music has been described as “monumental, hair-raising, and leaving you agape in awe” (Classical Music Sentinel), is a concert organist and composer, and the Bess Hieronymus Endowed Professor of Organ and Composition at the University of Texas at San Antonio.

HOUSTON BRASS QUINTET
Houston Brass Quintet is a chamber group with a focus on diverse music genres, collaboration in the arts community, arts education, and service to those in need in the greater Houston area. Houston Brass Quintet is a permanent part of the Houston Performing Arts and the greater Southern Region in the US. As a non-profit, the chamber ensemble plans to bring high-level chamber music to those who may not normally get that exposure.

APOLLO CHAMBER PLAYERS
Apollo “performs with rhythmic flair and virtuosity” (The Strad) and “recasts music for a diverse and multi-ethnic generation” (Strings Magazine) through globally-inspired programming and multicultural new music commissions. Recipient of Chamber Music America’s prestigious Residency Partnership award, the ensemble has performed for sold-out audiences at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and it is featured frequently on American Public Media’s nationally-syndicated program Performance Today.

Pianist Timothy Hester graduated from The Juilliard School as a student of the renowned pedagogue Adele Marcus. Mr. Hester is the Edythe Bates Old Professor of Piano at the Moores School of Music at the University of Houston, where he enjoys teaching students and serves as the Director of Keyboard Collaborative Arts.
Clarinetist Robert Walzel previously served as the founding dean of the University of Kansas School of Music from 2010-2022. Performing extensively in all mediums featuring clarinet and saxophone, he is hailed by critics as a “remarkable clarinet virtuoso” possessing “great finesse,” a “rich, warm, focused tone,” and “effortless technique.”

Mystères Sacrés: French Choral Masterworks invites listeners into a luminous soundscape of sacred music from early 20th-century France. Performed by the Moores Concert Chorale under the direction of Anthony J. Maglione, with organist Daryl Robinson, this program features works by Lili Boulanger, Marcel Dupré, and Maurice Duruflé—offering a journey through exaltation, mystery, and profound spiritual reflection.
