Welcome back to St. Paul’s 2019 Lenten podcast. We hope you’re enjoying these weekly episodes about prayer and pilgrimage.
Today, Rev. Tommy Williams, senior pastor of St. Paul’s UMC, sits down with fellow Houston minister, the Rev. Neil Willard. Rev. Willard has served for the past five years as rector of Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church. In this conversation, we’ll hear how Rev. Willard gravitates to simplicity when it comes to prayer. He insists we shouldn’t compare ourselves to those who seem to be “prayer experts.”
As a spiritual practice this week, you might come walk St. Paul’s outdoor labyrinth, which is often called a path of prayer. Guided walks are available every Wednesday evening at 6:15 now through April 17. For more information about the labyrinth walks or to read daily devotions this season, visit www.stpaulshouston.org/lent
