UMY
UMY (United Methodist Youth) is our weekly Sunday evening time together for all 7th -12th graders. It is from 5-7pm, with optional recreation time starting at 4pm. UMY is a great opportunity to have fun, meet new friends, find out more about how God and faith relate to your life, and get involved with other students just like you! Activities include recreation nights, service projects and discussion nights. Dinner is served every week.
Confirmation
This class for sixth-graders begins each September and ends with students being confirmed as full members of the church in April. Youth focus their study on Christianity and what it means to be a Methodist. The class meets Sundays from 5 to 7 p.m. Throughout the year, confirmands have the opportunity to visit different places of worship as well as participate in retreats, overnight trips, and other activities with the youth group.
