Salt and Light
Salt and Light is an activity-based group for adults age 60 and older.
Monthly Meetings. The group meets monthly, usually on a Tuesday or Thursday. Programs range from speakers to musical artists. The Gathering begins in the Parlor at 10:30 a.m. with the Program at 11 a.m. A $5 lunch is served at noon to those who have made a reservation. To eat lunch with the group, please RSVP via email or call 713-528-0527 within two weekdays prior to the meeting. Anyone is welcome to the meetings, regardless of church membership.
Day Trips. The group also goes on occasional day trips to a variety of fun and interesting places. To participate, please RSVP as indicated on the trip's description. (Some require longer lead time than others.)
Senior Men. The senior men gather at 9 a.m. on the third Thursdsay of the month for a Dutch treat breakfast at the IHOP on the U.S. 59 access road, near Kirby. (2515 Southwest Freeway 77098) No reservations necessary.
