For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. (John 3:16-17)

Isn't it so reassuring to know that our God has made the ultimate sacrifice just for you? This is probably one of the most quoted bible verses, but it never loses its relevance. It is so easy to lose hope when the world is filled with hate and negativity. With all of the hustle and bustle of daily life, it's hard to stop and remember that He loves you with all of your struggles and issues. He has loved you through the difficulties and trials, the failures, and the grief. He waits patiently for you to come to him, because He truly loves you. His love was demonstrated by His sacrificial death on the cross. He died, not for His sins, but for our sins. This message is one of hope and love, and this love is enough to carry us through anything.

God, thank you for your love. I know I didn't earn it or deserve it, but thank you. Help me remember throughout my daily troubles that you are with me. Teach me to love others as you love me, and to spread this love to everyone I meet. Amen.
