For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all, training us to renounce impiety and worldly passions, and in the present age to live lives that are self-controlled, upright, and godly, while we wait for the blessed hope and the manifestation of the glory of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ. (Titus 2:11-13)

I do have faith that God brings salvation for everybody — doesn’t matter if that person is poor or rich, good or malicious, black or white, American or any other “race,” God sees us equal as human beings. Today I’m reminded that our great God is bringing us the blessed hope and the manifestation of his glory through Jesus Christ our Savior even more when we are in a hard time and life seems hopeless. Be patient; God is with us.

God of grace, thank you for reminding me that you bring us hope and salvation. Help me to keep self-control in the midst of my life as I wait patiently for the manifestation of your glory. Amen.
