We celebrate that we are part of a global family and are thrilled to partner with brothers and sisters in Christ around the world.
Cochabamba, Bolivia: We have partnered for many years with Iglesia Metodista Emmanuel in Cochabamba. In 2009, Emmanuel responded to the Spirit's prompting and planted a new church in a community outside of Cochabamba. Luz de Vida (Light of Life) is now a thriving community working toward the completion of its own building. St. Paul's visits our sister congregation each year. Every other year, we take a youth team, and the years in between are adult teams. Teams work alongside Bolivian friends to complete Luz de Vida's building, learn one another's culture, and share God's love and hope.
Mizak, Haiti: St. Paul's has developed a relationship with HAPI (Haitian Artisans for Peace International) in rural Haiti. HAPI is a faith-based community development ministry that encourages creativity, promotes gender equality, creates economic opportunity, nurtures spirituality and grows healthy communities. St. Paul's looks forward to growing this partnership with upcoming trips to meet brothers and sisters in Mizak and support the wonderful work they are doing to give life and hope to others through job artisan fair trade; microbusiness loans; basic health services, maternal care; children’s activities in art, 4H, marching band and dance; and increasing individual and organizational capacity through technology and project management.
