Rev. Paul Richards-Kuan joins St. Paul’s clergy effective July 1 as an associate pastor. He will be pastoring the East End Missional Community.
He is married to the Rev. Karyn Richards-Kuan, who is St. Paul’s associate minister for adult faith formation. Paul attended Hendrix College, a United Methodist school in Conway, Arkansas, and earned his Master of Divinity at Duke University Divinity School. He comes to St. Paul’s after serving as an associate at Holy Covenant UMC in Katy. He enjoys listening to and playing music, pickup basketball, and baking bread.
He looks forward to the Revelation 7:9 vision of the church, “there was a great crowd that no one could number. They were from every nation, tribe, people, and language.”
A welcome reception will be held for Paul on Sunday, July 16, at 12:15 pm in the Jones Building Foyer. His first Sunday sermon here will be on August 13 at 9:45 am.
