Another of St. Paul’s men of many talents, Jim Benton will not only cater the Primetimers’ July 13 lunch, he will provide the entertainment — all in the name of celebrating summer.
He worked his way through Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary as the house organist for Casa Manana Theatre and the Fort Worth hockey team. More recently, he played the piano for services at Holly Hall Retirement Community when Dr. Bill Gandin preached, and he accompanied Anna Teagarden at the Foundation’s annual dinner in the spring.
His company, Jim Benton of Houston, catered the dinner for St. Paul's Choir's elegant fundraising evening last year and has catered numerous other meals here, including several Primetimers lunches. Now he will provide both the entertainment and the summertime-themed luncheon for the Primetimers July 13 meeting.
Arrive at Fondren Hall at 10:30 am for fellowship, enjoy Jim’s entertainment at 11, and — if you RSVP by July 11 — enjoy his summer food fare at noon. RSVP for lunch to 713-582-0527 or email@example.com.
