Fuller Institute of Recovery Ministry presents "Six Essentials to Achieve Lasting Recovery" on Tuesday, June 20, from 6 to 9 pm, in Fondren Hall. Author and educator, Dr. Thomas Kimball, will share resources to empower individuals and families to make recovery from addiction possible.
Dr. Kimball is the George C. Miller Family Regents Professor at Texas Tech University and the Director of the Center for the Study of Addiction and Recovery. He co-wrote the book, Six Essentials to Achieve Lasting Recovery, published in February 2012.
This event is free and open to the public, in collaboration with St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Archway Academy, The Council on Recovery, the National Association for Christian Recovery, and Teen and Family Services. Childcare will be provided.
