Bishop Scott Jones will be the keynote speaker at St. Paul’s Methodist Foundation annual dinner on Monday, May 8, at 6:30 pm in Fondren Hall. This will be his first time at St. Paul's since being appointed resident bishop of the Texas Conference.
Born in Nashville, he was reared in Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana, and Colorado. Prior to being elected bishop of the Texas Conference, he was resident bishop of the Great Plains Area, and prior to that he was the McCreless Associate Professor of Evangelism at Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University. He also has served as pastor of four congregations in Texas.
Music will be provided by Anna Teagarden and the Foundation’s annual report will be presented by Rev. Rick Goodrich, the Executive Director of the Foundation.
