Thanks to your support — both prayerful and financial — the Mission in Motion team participated in athletic events over three weekends and raised more than $7,500 toward the goal for this summer’s Youth mission work and additional money toward the goal for this summer’s Royal School of Church Music Gulf Coast Course

The senior high youth and leaders will be commissioned this Sunday for their work with U.M. ARMY in Palestine, TX, and later this summer the middle school youth and leaders will conduct similar projects with JUMMP in College Station. The Royal School of Music Gulf Coast Course begins at St. Paul's on June 12.

Approximately 80 people from age five through adults (some counted more than once due to multiple activities) participated in this year’s 5K’s and triathlons, some in relay teams.

At the May 28 Silverlake triathlon in Pearland, Sara Chang won her age division, the Aruffo family (“The Rolling Potatoes”) placed second in the overall relay division, and Cassie Brown placed second in her age group. One MiM team member — 18-year-old Henry Philpott — represented St. Paul’s Youth in the 70.3k Gulf Coast Half Ironman Triathlon in Panama City, FL, on May 13.
