Fresh out of the oven! St. Paul’s is pleased to announce the launch of a new culinary initiative begun by entrepreneurs within the Fe y Esperanza community. Agape Pastries offers training for aspiring bakers and expresses the diverse culinary traditions of many cultures.
The name, Agape Pastries, is inspired by the most radical form of love—agape. As described in scripture, agape is a selfless love extended to all people, whether family member or stranger. It is the same love that Christ offers each of us.
Just in time for the holidays, Agape Pastries will be selling delicious, made-from-scratch pies to be picked up before Thanksgiving. Place your order this Sunday, November 12, on the Plaza. Come by the table for a taste-test and to meet some of our talented bakers. Several pie varieties will be available. Proceeds from pie sales will support St. Paul’s pastoral care and start-up funding for Agape Pastries.
