Stop by the EAC table in the Plaza this Sunday to learn how you can be involved in one of our church’s oldest outreach programs, the Emergency Aid Coalition (EAC). The EAC is an interfaith organization that collaborates to provide temporary assistance in the form of food and clothing to those in our community who are living on the edge of poverty.
You can be part of this mission. Currently, the EAC seeks volunteers to sort clothing, pack groceries, sack lunches, or drive to pick up food and clothing donations. Volunteers also are needed for special projects, such as stuffing the inserts in today’s worship bulletins.
For information on volunteer opportunities, please email Marian Bryant at email@example.com. No matter how much time you have to share, the EAC needs you!
October 22 is EAC Donation Sunday at St. Paul’s. Contributions toward our congregational goal of $16,000 come only by direct donation from our members.
To donate, please make checks payable to the EAC with “St. Paul’s” on the memo line. You also may donate by credit card via www.eachouston.org/donations.
The EAC’s vision is that everyone in our community has the essentials they need to provide for themselves and their families. Please help us make this vision a reality!
