Bishop Janice Riggle Huie will be the keynote speaker at St. Paul’s Methodist Foundation's annual banquet on May 2, at 6:30 p.m. in the Fondren Hall.
Bishop Huie has been the Bishop of the Texas Annual Conference for the past 12 years and will be retiring this year. She and her husband, Rev. Bob Huie, have been frequent visitors for worship at St. Paul’s and been an inspiration to laity and clergy alike throughout the Texas Annual Conference, the South Central Jurisdiction of the UMC, and the United Methodist Church throughout the world.
If you have ever heard Bishop Huie speak, you know what a dynamic proclaimer of the faith she is. If you have not heard her speak, this will be an opportunity you will not want to miss.
Music will be provided by our own Anna Teagarden and Scott Wagner. In addition, the Foundation's annual report will be presented by Rev. Rick Goodrich, the Executive Director of the Foundation.
Please RSVP for the $15/plate dinner to firstname.lastname@example.org or 713-528-0527 by April 28, indicating the number attending and if childcare is needed, the number of children and their ages. One need not attend the dinner to attend the presentation.
An information table will be on the Plaza each of the Sundays prior, beginning April 10. For additional information about the dinner or the Foundation, please contact Executive Director Rick Goodrich via 713-528-0527, x131 or email@example.com.
