For employment, many of the Emergency Aid Coalition (EAC) clients need work boots and work pants, usually in sizes smaller than EAC member congregants wear.
To help them become or remain employed, please donate toward their work boots on Sunday, February 28, with either wook boots or cash contributions toward vouchers for them.
Monetary donations will go toward the purchase of vouchers good for redemption at Redwing Bellaire, which will provide discounts on the boots. This will ensure that the clients get a good fit.
Please make checks to the EAC with "Boots to Work" on the memo line. A pair of soft-toed boots for restaurant work costs $80,. and a pair of safety-toed work boots for construction work costs $100. Any amount toward a voucher will help.
Also that day, the EAC will be open after morning worship services, beginning at 9:30, for St. Paul's members to see the work of the EAC. Opportunities to help sort clothes and groceries will be available, too. Questions? Brett at email@example.com
The EAC is located in Abraham Station, across Fannin Street from the Jones Building.
