St. Paul's annual fall festival is a fun celebration for the whole community!
Activities include carnival games and prizes, a petting zoo and pony rides, giant inflatables, face painting, pumpkin and cookie decorating, music and dancing, and a costume parade! We'll also enjoy pizza, popcorn and snow cones. Tickets will be sold at the door: $10 for 25 tickets.
New to this year's festival are craft stations to celebrate El Dia de los Muertos. Make beautiful paper flowers and lacey papel picado. Sculpt and paint clay skulls and create whimsical cardboard masks.
Workshops for these craft stations will be held leading up to the festival. Come learn how to make these crafts and decorations at the workshops, then you can help kids make them at the festival:
- Cardboard Masks | Completed on Sundays, Oct. 16 and 23, at 12:15 pm in the Jones Building Basement (with Ibraim Santos)
- Clay Skulls | Sunday, Oct. 23, at 6 pm and Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 5 pm in the Activity Center/Gym (with St. Paul's Youth and Susan Budge)
- Paper Flowers and Papel Picado | Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 5 pm in the Jones Building Foyer (with Fredrica Fester, Fe y Esperanza members and Ellen Edwards)
Meals and childcare will be available at the workshops. For more details, contact Ellen Edwards at firstname.lastname@example.org or (713) 528-0527.
