“Standing Out and Reaching Up During Your Job Search” will be the focus for the October 30 Employment Encouragement Group.
This support group for those who are job seeking or in job transition and is open to anyone who may benefit. The group meets in the Fellers Room (S-312) and is facilitated by John Rowe, a principal at Enaxis Consulting with more than 23 years of management consulting and industry experience. Lunch is provided.
The workshop will include a discussion of what participants have found helpful during their job search, ideas for conversation starters, tips for improving resumes and online profiles such as LinkedIn, and Q&A.
Dr. Bill Gandin, Minister of Congregational Care, also will address the enduring values that all employers seek, such as trust, honesty, treating others with respect, and stewardship.
