Visit the three museums in Houston Baptist University’s Morris Cultural Arts Center with the St. Paul’s Primetimers on Friday, July 24. the museums are
- Southern History. Showcases clothing, fine furnishings, uniforms, tools, and weapons of Southern history from colonial period through WWII
- American Architecture & Decorative Arts. Items related to social history and material culture of Texas settlers from 1820 to 1920.
- Dunham Bible. An extensive collection of rare Bibles includes decoratively illuminated medieval Scriptures, examples of the earliest printed Bibles, and Bible translations from across the centuries and around the world, notably the new St. John’s Bible.
The bus will leave St. Paul’s small parking lot at 10:30 a.m., returning by 2:30 p.m. Museum fee is $5. Lunch will be at Serenitea Tearoom, 13889 Southwest Freeway, in Sugar Land.
