On Sunday, March 1, the St. Paul’s Treble Choir will lead a Lenten service of Choral Evensong at 4 p.m. in the Sanctuary. This is the culmination of the February 28 Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) Winter Festival at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, San Antonio, where they will combine with trebles from surrounding areas.

In San Antonio they will rehearse under the direction of the festival clinicians, St. Paul’s Dr. Paolo Bordignon, Dr. Giles Brightwell of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Houston, and Joseph Causby of St. Mark’s. Repertoire includes works of E. C. Bairstow, Malcolm Archer, John Ireland, and Felix Mendelssohn.

The RSCM Winter Festival is a precursor to the RSCM Gulf Coast Summer Course hosted by St. Paul’s June 29-July 5. For more information about RSCM curriculum or opportunities, please contact Anna Teagarden, St. Paul’s Director of Children’s Music, at annateagarden@msm.com.
