Join with the Fe y Esperanza congregation in Las Posadas pilgrimages each or any of the evenings between Tuesday, December 15, and Wednesday, December 23. Meet at Abraham Station at 6 p.m., and children dressed as Mary and Joseph will lead the pilgrimage around the sanctuary, returning to Abraham Station for reflection and a shared meal, concluding around 7:30 p.m.
This custom traditional in Mexico commemorates the search for lodging by Mary and Joseph when she was with child. Posada is Spanish for "lodging" or "accommodation." The nine-day period represents the nine months of Mary's pregnancy.
