The Choral Scholars will present a benefit recital Sunday, November 9, on behalf of the Emergency Aid Coalition (EAC).
In the Sanctuary at 4 p.m., the recital will feature soloists singing works from Gershwin, Sondheim, Handel, Mendelssohn, and others.
Donations of $10 or more suggested. Funds raised will support the EAC, providing food and clothing to low income families and individuals in the community.
“Choral Scholars would like to give back to the St. Paul’s community,” said their director Eddie Quaid.
“This wonderful idea of presenting a recital to benefit the EAC has come from three-year Choral Scholar Emily Wolfe, who is organizing it. Her goal is to present an entertaining program that will help in this worthwhile venture.”
The Choral Scholars are choir of select high school vocalists who lead the 9:45 worship service during the school year.
