She performs some of the functions she had during her previous tenure here, notably the senior adult programming, now called Salt and Light. She also shares responsibilities for congregational care, primarily visitation. When she retired she was the director of St. Paul’s United Methodist Foundation of Houston. During her previous years of service with St. Paul’s, she was “everything” from director of children’s ministries to senior adults. Ragsdale was graduated from two Methodist colleges in Texas, Lon Morris College in Jacksonville and Southwestern University in Georgetown. She is trustee of Lon Morris.
