Church Council
The official governing body of St. Paul’s, the Church Council evaluates plans and implements the programs of nurture, outreach, witness, and education for the church. Members of the Church Council are nominated each fall by the Lay Leadership Committee and elected annually at the Charge Conference. The Church Council meets quarterly to celebrate goals accomplished and ministry well done, revise and adjust goals where needed, and propose new ministry that comes forth during the year.
Extended Church Council
In addition to the Church Council, St. Paul’s holds Extended Church Council meetings two to three times a year. The Extended Church Council is separate from the Church Council and meets to communicate the work of the Church Council to the membership of St. Paul’s. These meetings are open to any church member interested in hearing about and participating in the work of the Church Council.
